GRACE ORMONDE WEDDING STYLE FEATUREMarch 26, 2013

I’m so excited to see Christine & Corey’s vintage style wedding featured on Grace Ormonde Wedding Style.  This was such a creative wedding with amazing clients and a dream team of vendors.  I’ll be posting a complete gallery from this wedding soon with vendor info, but for now you can check out the feature on Grace Ormonde Wedding Style.

CELTIC WEDDING AT WAVENY HOUSEMarch 16, 2013

Candice and Scott’s Celtic wedding at Waveny House in New Canaan took place on November 3, 2012.  Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast a few days earlier leaving parts of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut devastated with impassable roads and no electricity.  Miraculously the power was restored to Waveny House on the morning of the wedding and all of their guests arrived safely.  Candice was baking red velvet cupcakes by a gas stove and flashlight the night before.  The couple are both actors and had carefully planned the details of their event with a dramatic flair.  There’s nothing like a Hurricane to put everyone in a partying mood!  Happy St. Patricks Day!

It’s fascinating how fog impairs vision yet simplifies a scene making it minimal and abstract.

MEXICO PART IIIFebruary 11, 2013

I shot so much film while in Mexico and I love so many of the images.   This last bunch is a variety of family sessions that were shot at the FIND workshop, scenes around Hacienda Las Trancas and personal work shot in San Miguel.  This was a great experience!   I would highly recommend  Jonathan’s “Film is not dead” workshop to other photographers that have an interest in shooting film.  Hacienda Las Trancas is located about 30 minutes drive from San Miguel.  It’s a gorgeous and tranquil place with helpful, friendly staff and lovely amenities.  This would be destination wedding paradise in my opinion!  Viva Mexico!trevinofamily

MEXICO PART IIFebruary 9, 2013

More sunny images from the FIND workshop with Jonathan Canlas that I attended in San Miguel, Mexico.  I am really appreciating these while digging out from the blizzard that hit us!
